ACCOMMODATION IN PRIVACY - R.A.F. STATION, PODHOŘANY AIRFIELD
Large two-storey family house in the close neighbourhood of Podhořany Airport, which is the base of sport and tourist flying of all kinds and home to a unique collection of operational aircraft from the World War II. The house was built in the fifties on the foundations of the original cottage from the 19th century. It is furnished in the style ofthe 60s-70s (so-called heavy retro).
The house is located on the edge of the nature reserve and is the starting point of cycling and hiking trails to the Železné hory and Žďárské vrchy highlands (Seč dam, Lichnice castle ruins, Kraskov, Doubrava valley) and to Čáslavská plain (Žleby chateau, Žehušická obora - a white deer park and Kutná Hora monument area)
On-site sightseeing flights with tourist, sports and vintage aircraft, gliders and hot air balloons.
